Day 1: Welcome to Panama City and the Hotel Compania in Colonial Casco Antiguo!

The Full Day Panama City and Miraflores Locks Tour will give a detailed focus on the most relevant sites of Panama City and the Panama Canal Area. You will have the opportunity to do a walking tour at the Casco Viejo section, climb the Cathedral Tower of the Ruins of the original City which is Panama La Vieja, and experience the Panama Canal at Miraflores Locks Visitors Center.

Day 3: Gamboa Rainforest Combo Adventure: Gatun Boat Expedition, Aerial Tram with Ecological Exhibitions Tour and Lunch
Experience the verdant rainforest of Gamboa from within, ascending some 280 feet from the shadowy forest floor, through the dense undergrowth and up to the sun drenched canopy with its thousand shades of green that are only interrupted by the vibrant colors of flowering trees. Next experience an exhilarating 20-minute ride at high speed right through the heart of the Panama Canal. The boat will slow down and enter the labyrinth of jungle-covered islands of Gatun Lake. In this protected area the wildlife is plentiful, and you are likely to encounter capuchin monkeys, 3-toed sloth, howler monkeys, various kinds of toucans and other bird life as well as caimans, crocodiles, turtles and butterflies.

Today we will visit beautiful waterfalls framed by dense jungle in Chorro El Macho, marvel at the abundance of native tropical animals, birds and flora at the Níspero Botanical Gardens & Zoo and try to solve the riddle of the pre-Columbian petroglyphs at La Piedra Pintada, which to this date no archeologist has been able to explain. You will also enjoy a delicious meal at a local restaurant, and last, but by no means least, a visit to the famed Sunday handicraft market to which the Indigenous artisans bring their wares.

Just a two-hour drive through the rural villages and rolling green hills west of Panama City is the picturesque town of El Valle, nestled in the crater of a giant extinct volcano. To enter the crater, we will pass over its edge with spectacular views over this fertile, mountainous area. It is a tranquil town, surrounded by lush forests and jagged peaks with sparkling creeks adding further to the beauty of the valley. Situated at 1000m above sea level, El Valle enjoys a fresh and cool climate and is known as the land of eternal spring, which makes it a great option to consider for residing in Panama.

Day 7: Private Transfer from Anton Valley to Boquete with Coffee Route
You will be picked up this morning around 08:30 for your journey over land to Boquete, with stops along the way to enjoy the spectacular scenery and have a nice lunch at one of Panama’s most famous Pacific beaches. We can stop anywhere else along the way to explore different beaches and towns on the way to Boquete.
Once we arrive in Boquete, we will make a stop at the Mirador de la Virgen where you will have a panoramic view of the town of Boquete from above at the Tourist Information Center that provides useful information and offers the opportunity to taste and buy some excellent local Kotowa Coffee at the onsite Café. Then you will be dropped off at the resort where you can relax for the rest of the day or choose to walk into town to discover Boquete on your own.

Day 8: Morning Private Guided Pipeline Nature Hike and Secret Waterfalls Tour
This level 2 hike is perfect for those looking for an easy yet beautiful hike which last for about 1.5 hrs. each way (3hr total). This is an ideal location for spotting many different species of birds and even the Resplendent Quetzal. The Pipeline Trail gently winds through dense cloud forest, passing over small walking bridges and passing by ancient trees. Wildlife abounds on this scenic hike and the trail terminates at a nearly 200ft tall waterfall.

Day 9: Boquete Hanging Bridges Tour
The Hanging Bridges Tours is your unique opportunity to enjoy an elevated perspective of the biodiversity of Panama’s tropical clould forest. It is a circuit of 6 suspension bridges covering a 4.5 km route through the treetops. The tour via the Hanging Bridges takes place within the private forest reserve, Riio Cristal, located in the Talamanca Mountain Range bordering La Amistad International Park (PILA). You will be accompanied by a local guide who will help you understand and admire the lush flora and fauna of these protected forests.

We will get an early start today accompanied by your Licensed Real Estate Agent since there are so many diverse areas within and around Boquete and a great variety of property types to view. In addition to getting a lay of the Boquete land, we have a special meeting planned with expats living in Boquete. We will also spend time in Boquete town visiting the local supermarket and enjoying lunch at one of our favorite local Boquete restaurants.

Day 11: Flight to Panama City and Transfer to Hilton Hotel Panama
