Day 1: Welcome to Casco Antiguo and the Central Hotel!
The oldest section of Panama City known as Casco Viejo (Old Town) was founded in 1673 just two years after the original Panama City was torched during an invasion by the infamous Pirate Henry Morgan. It is only about 5 miles from the ruins of Panama la Vieja but is a world apart. Nestled in the heart of Casco Viejo is the Central Hotel which was built nearly 150 years ago. It faces the beautiful Plaza de la Independencia and was the first hotel in Panama at the time of its opening in 1874. It quickly became a meeting place for intrepid travelers and its clientele has included the French builders who constructed the Panama Canal, U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt and Count Ferdinand de Lesseps.

Experience the verdant rainforest of Gamboa from within, ascending some 280 feet from the shadowy forest floor, through the dense undergrowth and up to the sun drenched canopy with its thousand shades of green that are only interrupted by the vibrant colors of flowering trees. Next experience an exhilarating 20-minute ride at high speed right through the heart of the Panama Canal. The boat will slow down and enter the labyrinth of jungle-covered islands of Gatun Lake. In this protected area the wildlife is plentiful, and you are likely to encounter capuchin monkeys, 3-toed sloth, howler monkeys, various kinds of toucans and other bird life as well as caimans, crocodiles, turtles and butterflies.

This morning we will get an early start to begin our Real Estate tour of Panama’s Pacific Beaches. Just an hour and a half away from Panama City along the Panamerican Highway lies Coronado, which will be our first stop. Coronado is Panama’s most popular and highly developed beach community. It is also the only true beach community along the Pacific Coast. Coronado is affordable, has an excellent infrastructure in place, and offers all of the modern conveniences and amenities expected from a world-class beach community. There is a country club, a couple of golf courses, several upscale supermarkets that are open 24 hours, and a few high-end malls.

Today we will visit beautiful waterfalls framed by dense jungle in Chorro El Macho, marvel at the abundance of native tropical animals, birds and flora at the Níspero Botanical Gardens & Zoo and try to solve the riddle of the pre-Columbian petroglyphs at La Piedra Pintada, which to this date no archeologist has been able to explain.

Day 7: Private Transfer from Anton Valley to Boquete
You will be picked up this morning around 08:30 for your journey over land to Boquete, with stops along the way to enjoy the spectacular scenery and have a nice lunch at one of Panama’s most famous Pacific beaches. We can stop anywhere else along the way to explore different beaches and towns on the way to Boquete.
Once we arrive in Boquete, we will make a stop at the Mirador de la Virgen where you will have a panoramic view of the town of Boquete from above at the Tourist Information Center that provides useful information and offers the opportunity to taste and buy some excellent local Kotowa Coffee at the onsite Café. Then you will be dropped off at the resort where you can relax for the rest of the day or choose to walk into town to discover Boquete on your own.

This level 2 hike is perfect for those looking for an easy yet beautiful hike which last for about 1.5 hrs. each way (3hr total). This is an ideal location for spotting many different species of birds and even the Resplendent Quetzal. The Pipeline Trail gently winds through dense cloud forest, passing over small walking bridges and passing by ancient trees. Wildlife abounds on this scenic hike and the trail terminates at a nearly 200ft tall waterfall.

The tastings are a memorable experience.
The coffee farm is also unique in that we plant as in a garden tending to plants individually and not treating with any chemicals that can be harmful to bees and butterflies.

Day 11: Private Introduction to Boca Chica Realty Tour and Traditional Lunch with the Ngabe Bugle
Today we will head south past David until we reach the idyllic little beach town of Boca Chica. It has a tiny population of less than 1,000 people so it offers expats a relaxed and tranquil lifestyle on the coast. Sun and fun type activities naturally revolve around the water and include snorkeling, deep-sea and inland fishing, scuba diving, fishing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. Not surprisingly, Boca Chica is famous for its fresh fish.
Our Boca Chica Realty Tour today will consist of driving around the area to view different locations and types of property. We will stop in town so you can walk around and see for yourself how peaceful and relaxed Boca Chica is. We will conclude the Realty portion of the tour with a cold drink at a waterfront restaurant before heading to our next stop to have lunch with the Ngabe Bugle.
Following our tour of Boca Chica and the surrounding areas, we will drive to Soloy, where we grab a traditional coffee or tea. After we leave the marina, we’ll pass through the mangrove forested islands of Laguna de Chiriqui as we make our way toward Golfo de Chiriqui National Marine Park, a 14,740 hectares Marine Park that encompasses many uninhabited islands and serves as a refuge for howler monkeys, leatherback and hawksbill turtles, tiger herons, and scores of exotic fish. We’ll go to a few of our favorite snorkeling spots and pass the day exploring, swimming, relaxing in a hammock and playing on the white sand beaches of Isla Bolaños or Isla Gamez.

Day 13: Flight to Panama City and Transfer to Hilton Hotel Panama
This morning you want to take advantage of your last bit of time in this wonderful paradise by getting up for the spectacular sunrise. Once you arrive you will be met by a familiar face and transferred to your Panama City Hotel.
