Day 1: Welcome to Panama!
After passing through Customs you will be met by your private driver and whisked away in a luxury SUV to your hotel in the heart of colonial area of Casco Antiguo. Sip a glass of premium champagne while taking in stunning vistas of modern Panama City. This lovely historic area of Casco Antiguo is the ideal setting for taking an evening stroll in search of a quaint cafe for an after dinner drink. Day 2: Panama Canal and Jungle
Your day of adventure will take you to the waters of the world’s most famous man-made lake. Lake Gatun is situated in the heart of the Isthmus of Panama and was constructed between 1906 and 1914 to make the Panama Canal possible.
From the lake’s shore you will board a fast motor launch for a voyage of discovery. We will navigate above ancient routes that crossed the isthmus long before the lakes’ creation.
We will glide past lush tropical forests to a scenic region of the lake and witness firsthand the splendor and excitement of the jungle. Exotic birds, monkeys, sloths, iguanas, and crocodiles are just a few of the animals that you can view in their native surroundings. The sights, sounds and scents that make up this tropical paradise will engulf you.
Our ultimate destination will be a private tropical island where you can have an intimate lunch. Afterwards numerous activities are available such as exploring on your own in kayaks, swimming, and fishing. Then the highlight will be a dinner for two at Miraflores Locks as you witness oversized Panamax ships squeeze through the outdated locks. Day 7: Panama Canal Helicopter Flight
Today’s experience will be one to remember for a lifetime as you board your own personal helicopter with an experienced pilot to view the Panama Canal on a private tour by air.
